three·words — Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 July 2026
Welcome to three·words. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Questions: admin@threewordsapp.com.
Who can use three·words
You must be at least 13 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything done under it.
What the app does
three·words lets people describe each other in three words. You can invite others with your code, send words to people who invite you (named or anonymous), and see the words others send you.
Content and conduct — zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to submit words or content that are hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or that target anyone with slurs or abuse, and not to use the app to bully, stalk, or harm anyone.
To keep the community safe, three·words provides:
- Automatic filtering of objectionable words at submission.
- Reporting — flag any content; we review reports within 24 hours.
- Blocking — stop any user from contacting you and hide their content.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice. Report abuse any time to admin@threewordsapp.com.
Your content
You keep ownership of the words you submit, and you grant three·words permission to store and display them to the intended recipient so the app can work. You're responsible for what you submit.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data anytime in the app: Account → Delete my account.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is," without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, three·words is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
